Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County is marked 27 years of service to over 10,000 women in Southwest Connecticut by hosting the EmpowerHER Celebration on May 6. During the event, Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County honored Carmen Nieves with the Denise “Denny” Taft Davidoff Empowerment Award. Ms. Nieves, a proud Bridgeport native, was recognized for dedicating her life to uplifting her community through unwavering service, advocacy, and compassion. With decades of commitment to social justice and community empowerment, she has been a powerful voice for underserved families, women, and youth.
