Even after conversing with Mark on the phone, I still didn’t know what I expected about this program. I had lost my confidence and wasn’t working hard to get a job. After 5 weeks here I’ve found out more of who I am and learned how to be convictive and memorable. I’ve also learned how to use new tools, especially the internet, to find sources and hidden jobs.
But the most amazing thing I’ve discovered is the beautiful comradery and fellowship of my fellow participants. From day one I could see a real closeness and bonding among us, almost like family. Everyone lifts everyone else up, and no one says “no” when asked to help one of us in need. That shows me that every person here would bring great value to any employer- just by the kindness and goodness they each possess, along with their dedication to others. I feel this is a direct result of the true caring that Mark shows to each and every one of us.
I can’t believe that every person in the room is not working!
